Day 3: Forget Spring....I wish summer would hurry up

Finally, the snow has melted here in Washington, DC and I am so happy. February is almost over and soon Spring will come; however, I'm already over it. Summer is what I want. To continue with the open crown hats, here are some hats that would be perfect for the sun.

Day 2: Open Crown

Most of the time I am sporting a hat; however, there are times when I want to show off my natural hair and open crowned hats fulfills my need to do so. I have many friends who have locs and admire many of my hats, but I always get the complaint that they can never find a hat that will fit over their hair. Also some women get hot in hats easily. For both, I would suggest an open crown hat, but not for the dead of winter....it kinda defeats the purpose of wearing a hat in the first place.

Day One: Gray Hat

Today's hat is one that I zipped up about an hour before I went to church. It is made out of wool felt with herl feathers and a button that was given to me.
